Your purchase of the Green Clean Program are subject to these terms.  Your purchase of the program constitutes your agreement with these terms and that you agree to be held responsible for any misuse of the materials or services.

1. All materials provided to the purchaser are subject to copyright, and these materials cannot be copied, reproduced, or distributed freely or for monetary gain except as provided by Green Clean Institute.
2. The Green Clean Institute Certified™ trademark is the property of the Green Clean Institute trust and its use is limited to the display of the trademark as set out in this website.  You must maintain your good standing with the Green Clean Institute to continue to make use of the trademark.
3. All purchases are final since the material is made available immediately, however, if the purchaser wishes to cancel an order within 7 days of the purchase, a 10% processing fee is assessed and the remainder will be refunded as long as the materials are unused and notice is made within 7 days.  After 7 days, no refunds are provided.  We note several cases of abuse require us to maintain this policy.
4. Individual and firm certification are not the same process or provision.  Individual certification applies only to the individual earning the certification, not the company, which is another legal entity.  The firm certification outlined in this website provides for both individual and firm certification.
5. Green Clean Certification refers to the training process provided to the students, and does not imply or guarantee the actions or performance of the person or firm who has been trained.  The person or firm agrees to "Hold Harmless" Green Clean Institute for any failure to perform as a cleaning service or to provide a Green Clean product or service to his or her accounts.
6. A period of one year exists for completion of required courses and exams.  If the training goes longer than one year from the order of materials, an annual renewal fee will be required, but the client may proceed to earn certification without payment of the full training fee.
7. No use of the Green Clean Institute Certified trademark is permitted if the individual or firm is not renewed each year.  If there is a failure to renew the certification, the trademarks must be removed from the website and all advertising.  Willful failure to remove the trademark after written notice from the Green Clean Institute office will incur a liquidated damages of $5000 for any year of trademark infringement.
8. The Green Clean Institute Certified trademark may be used in bids or quotes by GCIC Firms only.  Individuals may only use the Green Clean Institute Certified trademark on business cards.  This applies to website use of the trademark as well.  Individuals that have been certified may not represent the firm as Green Clean Institute Certified.

Green Clean Institute is an education only firm that provides education and promotion of Green Clean Practices to the janitorial and cleaning industry.  There is no implied or intended warrantee of the services of the various students of our program.
